Camera Lavanda
A double room overlooking the courtyard. Linen curtains, a writing desk under the window, the kind of bed you sink into after a day of walking.
Five private rooms in a quiet courtyard, two minutes from the market
You step off Borgo Pinti — one of those long, calm streets that the day-trippers never quite find — and through an old wooden door into a courtyard with two lemon trees and a stone fountain. The hosts’ lounge is to the left, with espresso and the daily market list pinned to the wall.
Each of the five rooms has its own private bathroom. We clean every morning while you are out exploring, change the towels every two days, and leave a fresh bottle of water and a small note. Breakfast is not included on purpose — two minutes from the door is the Sant’Ambrogio market, where the bar inside makes the best cappuccino in the quarter.
A double room overlooking the courtyard. Linen curtains, a writing desk under the window, the kind of bed you sink into after a day of walking.
A double room with original beamed ceilings, looking out toward the bell tower of Sant'Ambrogio. Quiet in the morning, golden in the afternoon. The room people return for.
Our brightest double room, on the second floor. Two windows, a small armchair, a generous wardrobe — the room people stay an extra night for.
A snug double on the first floor, with the smallest balcony in Florence and a view onto the courtyard's lemon trees.
Our family room: a double bed and a single, with space for a small cot if needed. Two windows, the largest bathroom of the five, and the courtyard view.
